The IVC Customer Service Committee will be launching the Annual Fall Food Drive early again this year. The Imperial Valley Food Bank is completely tapped out and they need my help and your help. Please open your cupboards, your pantries, and your hearts. Our community needs us and we are asking for your donation of canned, dry goods and juice to be dropped off to your department’s Food Drive Box. You should be receiving your boxes with-in the next couple of days. If by Wednesday you have not received your box or need additional boxes please call me at x6380.
Send your empty ink and toner cartridges to me too!! This is a new program the IV Food Bank has been doing and this is an area we can definitely make a difference in.
If donating food or empty cartridges is just not your thing, donating money is always an acceptable alternative. Please make checks payable to the Imperial Valley Food Bank. In the past, together we have made a difference and TODAY we need to make a difference.
When will we be collecting?? Thank you for asking :o) We will collect when you call and tell us you have items to be picked up. The final pick-up will be on Monday, November 23, 2009. (We will be our pleasure to pick up after that date too.)
